Hello and welcome to this weeks blog.

Once again, we have have an abundance of wonderful cats... have you been to see us yet??? Well if not .... then hopefully this weeks pictures will tempt you!

My first little beauties are two little ginger boys who are just under 4 months old. Now how can you resist them...
these little lovelies have to go together though they make a great pair, even if this one is a little camera shy!!!

This little boy is a beautiful tabby. he is a little nervous - but so would you be if you suddenly found yourself in a sanctuary at such an early age!! he is 12 weeks old and looking for some lovely calm experienced owners to come and treasure him!

And this little beauty is just asking for you to come and sweep her up in your arms - isn't she gorgeous!!

So come along and look out for my littles ones - they will be a joy to you for many years and just think of the fun they will have chasing the Christmas decorations!!!

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for the blog - it would be great to hear from you.

Until next week.

Hello and welcome to this weeks blog.

We have lots of great cats at the sanctuary this week again and here are my cats of the week.

Splodge is a wonderful six year old male. He is a gentle, loving cat and is great with other cats and children of any age. He welcomes me whenever I go near his pen and waits for anyone to make a fuss of him - and how could you resist with that sad face.... I cannot say enough nice things about splodge - he really is fantastic. Go and meet him today - you really won't be disappointed!!

Sky is a gorgeous 3 year old girl with beautiful eyes - though you can't see them in this picture!!! She is loving though she is very timid as she has been bullied by other cats in the past. All she needs is for an experienced cat owner with a quiet home and a garden to give her a bit of time and love and let her come round to a normal way of life. She is lovely and really deserves a good home to live out the rest of her life.

We have homed lots of cats in the last week, so thanks to all of you who have helped us give our cats a new loving home. Also a big thanks to all our sponsors and every one who helps the sanctuary keep going - we couldn't do it without you!!!

Please come and see us soon.

hello cat lovers everywhere!!!

Did you know that in relation to their body size, cats have the largest eyes of any mammal, and the reason for that is so they can give you that long, sad stare until you give them the piece of salmon you have just cooked for your dinner!!!

The first cats I am sharing with you today are two gorgeous blue persians, Sasha and Freud. The pictures on our main website show them when they first came to the sanctuary in October. Well look how they have come on in the short time they have been with us - they now look twice the size!! It's like a before and after on a makeover show.

Just goes to show how important it is to really look after your pets and tend to their needs. You could feel just how happy it made
them. They love to show off and are very talkative too!! Come and have a look of them - you don't get this kind of find at sactuaries often!!

Both Sasha and Freud are 7 and good with children of all ages.

Now I just couldn't resist doing this - showing you lots of little kittens!!!!

I am actually a lover of older cats, though how can you resist these little bundles of joy!!!

Most of these kittens are here as they are strays kittens, unwanted or found in a box!!!
So these are the lucky ones who have come to us to be loved and to find their forever homes.

I just had to put this picture in - it's so blurred as the kitten wanted to investigate the camera - a good sign of the curious cat!!

And I promise you that this one will grow into his ears very soon :)

Have a good week and remember to come and visit us, and while you are here you can take a look at our new charity shop.

look forward to seeing you

Hello and welcome to this weeks blog!

If you’ve been considering coming to see us and finding a new furry friend – now is a good time!!! The cat sanctuary is very busy at the moment with lots of lovely new cats – I was there for ages on Monday night as they all wanted love and cuddles.... and I can't resist when they look at me with them big eyes!!!

This week I wanted to share 2 pairs of cats who would be great in any home!!

Pumba and Simba are brothers and absolutely love eachother. They eat together, sleep together and want stroking together. It was very difficult to take pictures of them as every time I went in their pen they was all around my legs and if they wasn't there they were eating - so you have a little picture gallery of them below.

They are both 7 years old and were very sadly abandoned by their owner when they moved -not the type of people we want cats to be associated with really:( They need to find their forever home with humans who will look after them and show them how a cat should really be treated.

Pumba and Simba would be fantastic cats to have around and are great with children.

Just had to put this picture in - he looks so cute!

My next pair are Patch and Spot.

Patch is a Devon Rex cross and has the most fabulous hair - it looks crinkly though is very soft to the touch and he is an absolute poppet, very laid back and whilst he loves fuss, Spot gets in the way as he wants centre stage!!

It took me ages to get these pictures too as Spot kept getting in the way of the camera so you have another little gallery of them!

As you can see they love each other very much though they need a new forever family as their owners moved and could not keep them any more.

Please feel free to ask any questions about the cats featured here by posting comments on the blog - I check it daily and promise to get back to you.

Why don't you come over and see my chosen cats as well as all the other lovely cats we have here. Not only would you be getting a fabulous campanion - or two - you would also be helping us home more cats which means we can take in more and give them the opportunity they deserve.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

We thank Pets at Home for this excellent opportunity to partner them.
