Epping Forest District Councillor Malcolm Woollard joined the volunteers at Chestnut Cat Sanctuary, Registered Charity on Bank Holiday Monday to celebrate the end of summer with a fabulous strawberry cream tea. Marion Sweeney, the sanctuary’s Community Champion’s Volunteer, pictured inset with Councillor Woollard organised the tea making over 50 cups of tea and cream scones. The sanctuary homeless cats were not forgotten and enjoyed their chance to have a taste of the delicious cream! A wonderful time was had by all. The sanctuary would like to thank our dedicated volunteers who regularly support the sanctuary, your time and help is greatly appreciated.
